Through my work as a wildlife cameraman I am lucky to have many opportunities to observe nature. I specialise in timelapse and macro filming which involves obtaining detailed, close up images of plant life and animal behaviour. I have worked on David Attenborough's 'The Private Life of Plants' and 'Life in the Undergrowth', and on the series 'Planet Earth'.
As well as filming, I am now also trying to capture some of the beauty and intricacy of the natural world in paint, particularly studies of insect behaviour. As you will see, I also enjoy painting scenes of Italy - its landscape and people. I love the unique quality of light which can turn an everyday scene in to something special.
